How long is the drying period?

From fell to sell, the process of finishing a live edge piece of furniture can take anywhere from 8 months to 24 months.

Do you offer unfinished pieced of wood for sale also?

We a provide a selection of unfinished pieces during all stages of their processing, so that you may incorporate them into new construction or put your own wood working skills to use.

I have an image in my mind of how I’d like the piece of furniture to look, can we work with you to customize the design?

If you send us an image of a table or a drawing of how you would like the table built our network of artisans can complete nearly any construction and we welcome collaboration throughout the process.

Can I claim a piece before it’s finished?

Whether you keep up with our projects online, at the mill in Greenwich or at the Mariner Gallery in Newport, you are welcome to let us know about your interest in a specific slab during any stage of the process.

Where are the bases from?

We keep a variety of bases in stock for your selection. On demand we can offer wooden bases that we craft using a lathe or bases from online retailers for order.

What kind of finishes do you use on the pieces?

A variety of finishing products are used based on the pieces function and the clients preference. A common few are: General Finishes, Minwax, Man o’War, Epifanes, and Captain’s Varnish.

How do you ship/deliver?

We use UPS freight & ground shipping for many of our products. We can also personally deliver for a fee.
